Senator Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Community and Regional Affairs Committee Substitute offered on page 1061. Senator Duncan objected, then withdrew his objection. Senator Lincoln offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 2, line 22: delete "corporations" insert "nonprofits" Senator Lincoln moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Taylor objected. Senator Lincoln moved and asked unanimous consent that amendment to Amendment No. 1 be adopted: Page 2, line 22: after "regional" insert "nonprofit" Without objection, the amendment to Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senator Taylor withdrew his objection. There being no further objections, Amendment No. 1 as amended was adopted. Senator Lincoln offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 3, line 5: after "Alaska" insert"in cooperation with Native regional nonprofit corporations and Alaska's rural communities" Senator Lincoln moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 2. Senator Leman objected. Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that amendment to Amendment No. 2 be adopted: 1993-04-14 Senate Journal Page 1392 SJR 25 Page 3, line 5: after "Alaska" insert"in cooperation with Native regional nonprofit corporations and Alaska's rural communities" Page 3, line 3: delete "administrator" insert "administrators" Page 3, line 4: following "Agency" insert "and the Indian Health Service" Without objection, the amendment to Amendment No. 2 was adopted. There being no further objections, Amendment No. 2 as amended was adopted. Senator Kerttula offered Amendment No. 3 : Page 3, line 17: delete ", Hillary Rodham Clinton, First Lady" Senator Kerttula moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 3. Senator Taylor objected. Senator Kerttula moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 3 be withdrawn. Without objection, it was so ordered.
